Internships
25% of college students believe that higher education is not worth the price of attendance with associated cost of tuition, books, room and board according to a new Zogby Poll. Increasingly, it has become clear that formal education alone is lacking in providing the real-life skills that the current competitive workplace demands.
The internship program at LCO – Levine Communications Office is a rewarding experience extended to young professionals looking to gain knowledge and insight into the world of PR. The program is designed to provide our interns with an introduction to basic PR skills; such as media research skills, event management, media pitching, and press release writing.
LCO’s intern program is one of the longest running in North America, with over 4,000 graduates. LCO interns have gone on to hold top jobs throughout the entertainment industry, and the program itself has been praised by such prominent names as Joseph Leiberman, Michael Bloomberg, David Geffen, George Bush, John McCain and Bill Clinton.
Our internships are non-paying and last 3 – 4 months in duration. College credit is available for participants that successfully complete the program. Flexible hours are offered to accommodate most schedules.
