Staying Motivated During Your Job Search

Posted by Levine Communications Office on December 29, 2010

As the economy continues to recover, US corporations have begun to hire again: just not in the US.  According to The Economic Policy Institute, a Washington think tank, says American companies have created 1.4 million jobs overseas this year, compared with less than 1 million in the U.S.  That paints a pretty grim picture for the nearly 9.8% of Americans who are out of work.

With few jobs being created stateside, navigating the job market continues to be arduous and the process can cause a great deal of stress.  But you can avoid the “burn out” by following a few simple guidelines. More Magazine discusses how you can stay motivated though you job search with a few simple tips in How to Avoid Job Search Burnout.  In the article, LCO Client and New York Times best-selling author Leanne Ely (savingdinner.com) discusses the importance of starting the day with breakfast as a way of keeping energy high during your search.  Check out what Leanne has to say and the other helpful tips in the article.
