R.I.P Pete Postlewaite

Veteran character actor Pete Postlewaite has died.  The actor had been battling a long illness with cancer.  He passed away in a hospital in Shropshire England on Sunday.  He was 64-year-old.

Postlewaite was best known for his roles in films “The Usual Suspects”, “Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo+Juliet” and most recently “Inception”,  “Clash of the Titans” and “The Town.”

in 1992 he was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in the critically acclaimed “In the Name of the Father” staring opposite Daniel Day Lewis.

He leaves behind his wife Jackie and their two children William and Lily.
