Posted by Levine Communications Office on January 18, 2011

Author and Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich recently sent his well wishes and a glowing endorsement of the Charlton Heston Stamp Petition.

“Charlton Heston was an American icon, not just in film, but also as a citizen who took seriously his responsibilities to his country. His life absolutely deserves commemoration on a US Postage Stamp.”

-Newt Gingrich

The petition, led by LCO‘s founder, former Heston publicist and friend Michael Levine, continues to raise awareness about Heston’s life and legacy and implores the Citizen Stamp Advisory Commission to place the American icon on a US postage stamp.  The stamp initiative continues to receive overwhelming support from the entertainment and political communities.
