We would like to introduce our readers to the newest LCO Client, Carla Collins. As of August 1, comedian/author Carla Collins was officially added as an account.
Readers, meet Carla. Carla, meet our readers!
Now allow us to get everyone acquainted with Carla…Carla Collins is a very successful television comedian in Canada, most recently recognized from her hysterical, new documentary series “Carlawood”. This award-winning actress has also worked extensively as a television host, radio personality, model, and stand-up comedian.
Carla recently wrote her first book entitled, Angels, Vampires, and Douche Bags. If this title alone doesn’t make you laugh, we can guarantee that the inside contents of the book will! Aren’t you curious to find out what the title stands for? We won’t completely ruin it for you (even though it does say it on the back cover!) but Carla advises that you “attract more angels in your life, control your vampires, and keep all douche bags at bay”.
"With a fast wit, fake breasts, and real heart, Collins shares her unconventional journey from a small steel town in Ontario, Canada to Tinseltown LA"
In conclusion, we would like to give a warm welcome to Carla from the LCO Team and we are looking forward to our work together!
What did you guys think of Angels, Vampires, and Douche Bags? We would love to hear your opinions!

The world of voice acting is one that many are not so familiar with. Animated figures come to life because the voices that are used create the persona displayed by each character. Have you ever thought about whose voice you are actually hearing? Is a man playing a woman’s voice, or vice versa? Is an adult playing a child’s voice? Is one person playing more than one character? The audience may never know due to the immense talent and diversity that some voice actors own.
As you may or may not know, Kevin Michael Richardson is one such voice genius and quite a busy one these days as a matter of fact. LCO Client, Kevin Michael Richardson, was recently featured in “The Newfoundland Herald”, to give us his story and the role he has played in the voice acting world. Allow us to just sum up what may be a little difficult to read with the clippings we have provided. As an Emmy award nominee, Kevin Michael Richardson has “lent his voice to TV shows, movies, and even video games”. He is providing the voice of Cleveland Brown Jr. and Lester among others on the hit animates series, The Cleveland Show. KMR expresses that he wanted to be a performer since he was about five years old. Well, he certainly achieved this goal after years of schooling, theater involvement, and studying. Some of his many credits include Family Guy, American Dad, Lilo & Stitch, The Matrix: Revolutions, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Here are some inspirational highlights from the article in “The Newfoundland Herald”:
“But as far as voices, I always played around with that in front of friends. I just incorporated that into the characters I did on stage when I found out you could make a living doing voices, I thought, ‘You have to be kidding.’ So it just snowballed from there.”
“Just the fact that you’re doing what you love is great and when you’re making kids happy, that’s what makes it worth it. My oldest is 20 and my youngest is 15 and they still give me a wink or a hug when they like something I’ve done so as long as I’m cool with them, I’m ok with that.”
It is obvious that KMR loves what he does and works hard at achieving what is most important to him. His relaxed nature and genuine self is very refreshing to this industry at hand. For more info on Kevin Michael Richardson please visit www.kevinmichaelrichardson.com
