Russia” nets over $1,000,000

Longtime friend of Farrah Fawcett, filmmaker and cancer activist, Alana Stewart speaks from the podium at The Beckstrand Cancer Foundation’s 9th Annual Diamond and Pearl Ball held on October 13 at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Stewart was honored for her selfless support of Fawcett during her illness, and for the work she has done as the President of the Farrah Fawcett Foundation. “An Evening in Russia” successfully raised approximately $1,000,000 in support of cancer patients with highlights including an appearance by actor Ryan O’Neal who accepted the 2012 Beckstrand Honoree Award on behalf of Fawcett.
